Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 25 times. Including garbage extinguishing – 2, false alarms – 10, short circuit of wiring without burning – 2, meal burning – 2, cooperation with other services – 2, others – 1. Firefighters of the republic eliminated 3 fires, including residential sector – 2, outhouses – 1.

Incidents as of December 5:

Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 43 times. Including garbage extinguishing – 1, false alarms – 20, short circuit of wiring without burning – 1, meal burning – 2, cooperation with other services – 9. Firefighters of the republic eliminated 8 fires, including residential sector – 3, outhouses – 3, various types of property – 1, garden houses – 1. 3 people died. 1 person was injured.

From December 15, 2016 until January 10, 2017 there will be introduced special anti-fire mode on the territory of the Republic of Tatarstan. Annually, December and January are the most unsuccessful month due to increased number of fire and dead people in them. The main cause of fire is careless handling of fire.

Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 36 times. Including garbage extinguishing – 3, false alarms – 16, short circuit of wiring without burning – 1, meal burning – 0, cooperation with other services – 1. Firefighters of the republic eliminated 11 fires, including residential sector – 5, outhouses – 1.

Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 49 times. Including garbage extinguishing – 7, false alarms – 14, short circuit of wiring without burning – 1, meal burning – 1, cooperation with other services – 19. Firefighters of the republic eliminated 5 fires, including residential sector – 2, vehicles – 1.

Every year in December, cadets of the school No. 47 named after the Hero of Soviet Union, Nikita Kaymanov took oath. But this year, in the Year of Fire Service, this is a double celebration. Not only their parents, but also honorary guests came to congratulate the young generation with joining the ranks of cadets. There were the deputy of City Council of Naberezhnye Chelny Municipal Unit, Sergey Kulish, the Chief of the 15th squad of federal fire service, Colonel of inners service, Rustam Yumagulov, the Chairman of Board of Veterans of Fire Service Garrison, Anatoly Ryabov and many others.

Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 47 times. Including garbage extinguishing – 1, false alarms – 25, short circuit of wiring without burning – 2, meal burning – 1, cooperation with other services – 8. Firefighters of the republic eliminated 6 fires, including residential sector – 4, vehicles – 1. 31 people were rescued.

Today, the Head of EMERCOM of Russia, Vladimir Puchkov, met with the President of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov. They talked about construction of a new fire and rescue department in Innopolis. They also agreed on further cooperation in questions of Space Monitoring and Prediction of Emergencies. Besides, they talked about four Mi-8 cargo helicopters for EMERCOM of Russia.

At 5.00 P.M. on December 1, 2016, the ceremony of awarding winners of VIII All-Russian festival of people’s safety and rescuing “Courage Constellation” will take place in the hall of Fundamental Library of Lomonosov Moscow State University. The festival unites representatives of security departments, journalists, society in solving common task – improving safe life culture, patriotic education, honoring present heroes: firefighters, rescuers, representatives of other professions, ordinary people, who showed heroism and courage, coming to help at difficult moment.

Semashkin Andrey Viktorovich, the guard chief of FD-47 OFPS-1, is four-time winner of All-Russian Professional Skills Competition (2010, 2011, 2015, 2016), five-time champion of Volga Regional Center of EMERCOM of Russia and six-time champion of the Republic of Tatarstan in professional skills competition. He chose the profession of a firefighter-rescuer in 1994 and not only remains faithful to it to this day, but also develops and achieves new heights in professional training.
