The work of services and departments of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan and EMERCOM RT was summed up in the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan. During the meeting, which passed under the chairmanship of the first Deputy Chief of the Headquarters, Colonel of inner service, Tahir Karimullin, reports of department chiefs were listened on the following directions: fire service, state fire supervision, civil defense, safety on water bodies, informational security provision, emergency situation risks prevention. On the whole, the work in 2016 was recognized successful.

Competitions within the regional championship of the Republic of Tatarstan “Young Professionals” (WorldSkills Russia-2017) on “Rescue Works” competence end in Tetyushi. Today, students of Tetyushi State College of Civil Defense, namely, four teams of the best trained future rescuers competed in two disciplines: taking out an injured person jammed in car after traffic accident and fire relay with deployment from fire truck.

In order of people’s safety provision on water objects in winter and warning the population, the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan presents the information on ice thickness and potentially dangerous places on water objects of the Republic of Tatarstan.

Incidents as of February 1:

Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 31 times. Including garbage extinguishing – 3, false alarms – 15, short circuit of wiring without burning – 1, meal burning – 1, cooperation with other services – 5. Firefighters of the republic eliminated 5 fires, including resident sector – 2, outhouses – 2, various types of property – 1. 1 person died.

Competitions within the regional Championship of the Republic of Tatarstan “Young Professionals” (WorldSkills Russia 2017) on “Rescue Works” Competence continue in Tetyushi. Today, students of Tetyushi State College of Civil Protection, precisely speaking, four teams of best trained future rescuers gathered to overcome three contest disciplines: climbing wall, working at height, and rescuing an injured from under manmade ruins. The best 10 winner teams of qualifying competitions will contest for the title of the best in Russia on V National Championship of WorldSkills Russia 2017 which will take place in May, 2017 in Krasnodar Region.

A fire report in the village of Oktyabrsky of Verkhny Uslon Municipal District was received on February 1, 2017 at 3 o’clock at night from the head of the rural settlement. There was burning one-storied log house with the sizes 6 to 6 meters with batten veranda. At 3.10 A.M., “Nikolskoe” voluntary fire crew arrived to the fire site on a fire truck. Before their arrival, a boy born in 2015 was rescued by Denis Chernovsky born in 1982. The boy got burns.

The work done in 2016 of employees of Naberezhnye Chelny fire and rescue garrison was summed up in Naberezhnye Chelny. Deputy Chief of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan, Chief of the Office of Supervision and Preventive Work, Colonel of inner service, Sergey Sergeev, marked that the squad chief and staff conducted huge systematic work, achieved fair results in the service and implemented practically all set tasks for 2016.

Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 51 times. Including garbage extinguishing – 4, false alarms – 15, short circuit of wiring without burning – 1, meal burning – 2, cooperation with other services – 9, others – 1. Firefighters of the republic eliminated 11 fires, including resident sector – 8, outhouses – 3. 1 person died, 1 person was injured, 1 person was rescued.

During the opening ceremony, the college headmaster, Tatyana Adayeva, marked that the competitions were held in 100th anniversary of Tetyushi State College of Civil Defense, and that it was a great honor for the college to enter the history of WorldSkill movement’s development exactly in the jubilee year. Nikolay Surzhko gave the college leadership a mannequin for studies on pulmonary and cardiopulmonary resuscitation, as a gift from EMERCOM RT. Also, Deputy Chief of the Executive Committee of Tetyushi Municipal District, Albert Gerasimov, thanked republican EMERCOM for support and education of college cadets, competition participants. 4 teams started up a fight for victory and right to further participation in WorldSkills Russia 2017 competitions.
