The wild bird appeared on January 29 on one of courtyards in the city of Leninogorsk. Residents saw the owl which could not take off because of its broken wing, and reported to the single duty dispatch service of the district. Rescuers of the zonal search and rescue squad No. 7 arrived to help the injured owl. Rescuers needed 20 minutes to carefully catch the owl by the hands protected with thick gloves. The bird rode to the squad building calmly on the hands of its savior. A veterinarian was waiting it there.

On January 27, 5 teams of higher education institutions of the capital of Tatarstan gathered in the base of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan. The first stage passed as a test on questions of first aid and psychological support provision. Those teams which took the first and second places on the first stage will step to the next stage. Further in March this year, Kazan students will demonstrate psychological support and first aid provision in practice, defending the honor of Tatarstan among regions of the Central Regional Central.

At 00.40 P.M. on January 27, there was received report about that three people, including two children, were poisoned preliminarily by carbon monoxide in the city of Kazan. All of them were hospitalized. The accident’s cause is being ascertained.

On January 26, a complex drill with management bodies, organizations and enterprises of Aznakayevo Municipal District on the theme “Actions of management bodies and forces of Aznakayevo unit of territorial subsystem of prevention and elimination of emergency situations of the Republic of Tatarstan during the threat and occurrence of emergency situations”. Regional Championship of the Republic of Tatarstan “Young Professionals” (WorldSkills Russia) 2017 on “Rescue Works” Purview will pass from January 31 until February 3 in the state autonomous professional educational institution “Tetyushi State College of Civil Defense” with the participation of 4 teams. Within the preparation to the championship, on the eve, students of the college held competitions on rescue all-around, according to which results the strongest were selected for the participation in the championship of the Republic of Tatarstan.

On January 26, 2017 at 0.01 A.M., there was received report about a fire in the building of “The House of Children’s Art” facility which is located in the village of Staroe Drozhzhanoe. In 3 minutes after the signal was received, fire departments arrived at the site, and at 0.08 A.M. the fire was totally eliminated. As a result of firefighting departments’ actions the fire’s area estimated just 2 sq. meters. Preliminary cause of the fire is violation of electric equipment use rules.

At night on January 24, voluntary firefighters saved a house from fire in Kamskoe Ustye District in Kuybyshevsky Zaton town. One more private bathhouse was extinguished in the village of Biyurgan on Tukay District.
