Firefighters of the republic eliminated 9 fires, including resident sector – 3, outhouses – 5, various types of property – 1. 1 person died.

Selected team of the Republic of Tatarstan won the Cup of the Prime-Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan on Applied Fire Sports in the 12th time. In the close contest, Tatarstan masters of applied fire sports managed to snatch victory in total score and retain the title of the winner of this prestigious All-Russian competitions. Moreover, our team won in winter championship of Volga Federal District, which was held in parallel with the Cup, one more time.

Our sportsmen managed to achieve such high result in close contest. As a result, Tatarstan appliers climb up the first place from the sixth one and head the three of leaders, for now. Also this day, two highest achievements were set up on applied fire sports in “100-meter obstacle course” discipline among women and girls.

Today, the work of civil defense and territorial subsystem of the Single State System of Emergencies Prevention and Liquidation of the Republic of Tatarstan for 2016 was summarized at a joint board of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan and EMERCOM RT. The meeting was attended by the President of the Republic of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov and the Main Federal Inspector for RT, Renat Timerzyanov.

Unprecedented number of participants, more than 450, 26 teams from 24 regions of Volga and Central Russia started up fighting for honorary trophy of XIII All-Russian Competitions for the Cup of the Prime-Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan on applied fire sports. The tournament is held traditionally in the sports center of the the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan. The opening ceremony was attended by the President of the Republic of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov. Among honored guests there were the Chief of the Headquarters, Lieutenant-General of inner service, Rafis Khabibullin, the leadership of the Headquarters and other officials.
