From September 22 to October 22, divisions of the state government institution of the Republic of Tatarstan "Fire Protection of the Republic of Tatarstan" conducted an autumn inspection of the sources of outdoor fire-fighting water supply. During the reporting period, 42715 calls were received and processed by specialists in receiving and processing emergency calls, and 34101 incident cards were created.

With the onset of cold weather and the beginning of the heating season, the risk of fires in housing increases. To protect the residents of the republic from harm, employees of the fire service of the Republic of Tatarstan carry out preventive work, using all available means for this — from information stands to personal conversations. Their main motto is: "It is easier to prevent a fire than to put it out!".

Rescuers of ZSRU No. 1 of Buinsk held preventive talks with cadets of the Tetyushsky State College of Civil Protection on the topic: "Rules of conduct in forests during a fire-prone period", "First aid for snake bites and ticks". The coverage was 52 people, 50 of them children, 52 memos were issued.

Rescuers of the zonal search and rescue squad No. 2 (Kazan) conducted a preventive exercise on the topic: "Rules of behavior on the water in the autumn period" at a secondary school in the village of Koshchakovo, Pestrecy district.

The Fire Department of the Republic of Tatarstan pays considerable attention to career guidance work with the younger generation, actively introducing children and teenagers to the everyday life of fire and rescue work.
