Incidents as of August 1:

Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 61 times. Including garbage extinguishing – 10, false alarms – 22, short circuit – 3, meal burning – 3, cooperation with other services – 14. Firefighters of the republic eliminated 7 fires: residential sector – 3, garden houses – 1, outhouses – 1, vehicles – 2.

From August 3 to 5, 2018, in Kazan, the organization of the championship of Russia and IRONSTAR&TIMERMAN international competitions on triathlon was planned. On August 1, senior inspector R. Safin carried out a preventive review of the temporary infrastructure. Organizers and officials were instructed on compliance with fire safety measures during the competition, explained the order of actions of maintenance personnel in case of fire or other emergencies.

At night of August 1, 2018, there was burning an apartment on the fourth floor of the apartment building. The front door was closed, but it was opened with a gas cutter. During the fire extinguishing there was found the hostess (born in 1983) in the living room on the couch in unconscious state. It should be noted that the constructor of the building equipped the apartment with autonomous fire detectors, but the owners took out batteries from the device. If not the promptly arrived firefighters, the woman could die from smoke.

EMERCOM Employees held demonstration classes in the children's health camp 'Dream' for pupils of the specialized military-patriotic shift 'Aurora. Young Special Forces' under the auspices of the Coordinating Council of the Republic of Tatarstan on veterans of military operations. Zelenodolsk firefighters came to visit young special forces several time. Possibilities of modern rescuers were demonstrated by specialists of the zonal search and rescue unit No. 2 of the search and rescue service of RT, the fire-technical weapons of modern firefighters were told to the children by the staff of the 53rd fire and rescue department of the 8th detachment of the federal fire service in the Republic of Tatarstan.

Including garbage extinguishing – 7, dry grass – 1, false alarms – 27, short circuit – 0, meal burning – 5, cooperation with other services – 18. Firefighters of the republic eliminated 8 fires: residential sector – 5, various types of property – 2, vehicles – 1.

Parents need to pay special attention to child safety in the summer. On the 'Spas-extreme' portal devoted to issues of child safety, children can watch interesting films on the rules of behavior in emergency situations, try themselves in the role of rescuers in a game, read books, booklets and comic books created by EMERCOM of Russia for children. In addition, there is a specialized section here, which is called 'Holidays with Spasik'.

Including garbage extinguishing – 12, false alarms – 46, short circuit – 2, meal burning – 3, cooperation with other services – 9. Firefighters of the republic eliminated 6 fires: residential sector – 1, bathhouses – 1, outhouses – 1, vehicles – 1, abandoned buildings – 1, other – 1.

Every day, being on duty between departures for search and rescue operations, rescuers of Tatarstan conduct preventive talks with the population of different age categories in children's health camps, in places of mass recreation by the water and on the beaches. A lot of work is done by rescuers and fishermen.

Including garbage extinguishing – 6, false alarms – 21, short circuit – 2, meal burning – 3, cooperation with other services – 9. Firefighters of the republic eliminated 10 fires: residential sector – 3, garden houses – 1, bathhouses – 2, outhouses – 3, vehicles – 1.

In the Republic of Tatarstan, from the beginning of 2018, 63 people died on water, while 36 people died in the same period last year.
