Causes: violation of electric equipment design and usage rules – 3, violation of furnace design and usage rules – 2, incautious fire usage – 1.

Departures of fire departments for rescuing at the elimination of the consequences of traffic accidents – 4 time.

Departures of voluntary fire protection units on firefighting – 3.

Departures of search and rescue units of EMERCOM of RT – 14 times. Including searching works on water  – 3, other – 7. Preventive works – 11.

The deputy chief of the head department of the Ministry of Emergency Measures of Russia on RT - the head of department of supervising activity and scheduled maintenance Sergey Sergeyev has reported on safety on water objects of the republic at a meeting in the Government house of RT today.

The meeting in the video conferencing mode with all areas was held by the acting president of the Republic of Tatarstan Alexey Pesoshin.

Sergey Sergeyev has reported that considering the established hot weather, the situation on water remains rather intense. For last week on water objects 3 persons, including one child who has drowned in the river Kazanka near Center of family. The child bathed without supervision of parents.

EMERCOM employees together with activists of OSVOD continue preventive classes in children's health camps. This time the professionals taught the skills of safe rest for girls and boys of the children's recreation center 'Solnechny'. Familiarity with the abundance of fire and rescue equipment, as well as the basics of the work of firefighters and rescue on the water was carried out for children on different thematic sites.

Firefighters of the republic eliminated 9 fires: residential sector – 5. 1 person died, 2 persons were rescued.

In the afternoon of August 2, a balcony burned on the fifth floor of a five-story apartment house. The owner of the apartment was taken out on flights of stairs in a rescuer mask connected to a breathing apparatus with compressed air. From the house, 75 people were evacuated, 9 of them children. There was a spread of fire on the wooden structure of the roof. The area of the fire was 700 sq. m. There are no dead or injured.

Workers of the separate post for protection of the village of Old Matveevka of Naberezhnye Chelny Detachment of the Fire Service of the Republic of Tatarstan conducted an 'Open Day' for pupils of the social orphanage for children and adolescents 'Turgai' of Menzelinsk Municipal District. The children were clearly demonstrated fire fighting equipment, fire-technical weapons, guard room and held a preventive conversation on compliance with fire safety measures and they were handed out memos.
