Over the period of the World Football Cup, more than 400 appeals of foreign citizens were accepted, which were given advisory and practical assistance by emergency services. Volunteers were awarded with certificates of honor of EMERCOM of the Republic of Tatarstan and letters of thanks from the management of the Service-112. In each shift, 10-12 students with knowledge of 8 foreign languages (English, French, Spanish, German, Chinese, Japanese, Korean and Farsi) took part in each shift daily.

In the base of the 122nd fire and rescue department of the city of Menzelinsk, the 40th republican competitions among units of the gas and smoke protection service were completed among district units of the Federal Fire Service in the Republic of Tatarstan. They were dedicated to the memory of firefighters who died in the line of duty. According to the results of past tests for endurance and dexterity, the title of the best command of the GDZS link among the district units was won by the GDZS  link of Menzelinsk FRD-122.

Those wishing to learn the job of rescue on the water came to the capital of Tatarstan from all over the republic. Within two days, the staff of the republican OSVOD studied all the subtleties of saving a drowning person and providing him with first aid. As a result of theoretical and practical training more than two hundred volunteers of the republic received a certificate of a sailor-rescuer. All the students of the course are not accidental people, someone has been helping the native area for a number of years to ensure safety on the water.

Today the ranks of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan were replenished with new employees, young graduates of higher educational institutions of EMERCOM of Russia. Among 21 young specialists, five persons received a distribution to Tatarstan from other regions of Russia: they are natives of Stavropol Krai, Ryazan Oblast and the Republic of Chuvashia.

Today, a meeting on the issues of cooperation between EMERCOM of Russia and the subjects of the Russian Federation aimed at providing comprehensive safety of the population with a priority of measures to prevent loss of life, damage to the economy and the environment was held at the Headquarters in a video conference mode. Particular attention was paid to the consideration of the issues of the introduction of '112' emergency services call system and the 'Safe City' hardware and software complex.

On July 23, an apartment of a two-story apartment building burned in the village of Vostochnyi, Bugulma district. During the fire, an autonomous fire detector, which was installed in 2015 in the kitchen according to the presidential program, triggered. The neighbors and the owners of the apartment evacuated before the arrival of a fire department. Two fire trucks were used to extinguish the fire. The cause of the fire is a childish prank with fire.
