The third school of the Vahitovsky district of Kazan is ready to the academic year

Today check of fire safety condition has been organized in the third school of Vahitovsky district. This action was spent within the limits of planned preparation for new academic year.

    In the beginning SFS (State fire supervision) inspectors have checked up presence and serviceability of fire hydrants and sleeves. There were no remarks from firemen about it. All cranes and sleeves were in working order, located where they should be and they are stored the way that the access to them has been as much as possible facilitated in case of fire.

Then inspectors have examined evacuation ways, have noticed that access to them is free, doors were opening easily, but the closing doors device, which does not allow extending to a smoke and fire, was absent.

Also the evacuation plan in case of fire and emergency situation, which is already coordinated and signed by head of SFS, had been showed by the school management. In the plan actions in case of fire were defined. At first two weeks of academic year talks with a teaching staff, doctrines on pupils evacuation are going to be given.

The chief of SFS department of Vahitovsky district of Kazan Ildar Mustafin has noticed that basically the buildings of schools which are located on the territory of Vahitovsky district, are old enough, many buildings are more than 60 years. Therefore the internal furniture of schools should be made from fire-resistant materials. For example, management in the third school have decided to refuse wooden furnish of walls. Now school walls are finished by a granite stone. This decision has allowed not only keeping beauty and originality of interior, but also from the point of view of a practicality the way out was found. The school building was constructed in 1856 as an educational institution, and has never been reconstructed. But it is possible to observe requirements of fire safety.

    - On the first of September the school can open. Those small defects we have noticed during the check, I think, will be eliminated, - Ildar Mustafin has told.

    - Today from amount of 23 schools of the district there are 6 schools not equipped with the automatic fire alarm system, all the others are equipped by AFAS. The big defects which could create fire threats, we have not found out, - the chief of department GPN also has noted.  

     Following the results of the check Ildar Mustafin has made the conclusion that the school is ready to the academic year with 90 %. Gross infringements it is not revealed, except for small defects which the school management has promised to eliminate prior before the beginning of the academic year.
