The "Learn to Swim" campaign is a necessary safety skill on the water!
It is not the first year that the "Learn to Swim" campaign, initiated by the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations, has been marching throughout the country. Today, the event was also held with great success on the Nizhny Zarechye beach in Kazan. This year's children's safety festival, organized by the Department of Safety at Water Facilities of the Main Directorate of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations in the Republic of Tatarstan, turned out to be very large-scale and informative.
Employees of the emergency department, professional children's swimming coaches, rescuers, firefighters, dog handlers, volunteers and activists of public organizations took part in the action dedicated to the 35th anniversary of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations.
Vacationers at the school camp became interested even on the approach to the beach. The children did not expect to meet large fire trucks and motorcycles on the banks of the Kazanka River.
Rescuers of the Kazan zonal search squad No. 2 of the search and rescue service organized an ostentatious water performance especially for young viewers.
The professional children's coaches of the Kazanorgsintez Swimming Pool sports school, which is now called Kazan, took over the baton of supporting children's interest.
Sports teachers introduced children to the basics of swimming techniques in various styles. On the clean beach sand, under the guidance of the trainers, they correctly developed the movements of their arms and legs.
After the training course, the entertainment continued. Community rescuers organized a relay race for the children, during which the kids tried to get into the lifebuoy with Alexandrov's end.
