"School of Safety". The XXII republican competitions on survival in extreme situations started in Tatarstan
The 10 strongest school teams from the cities and districts of the Republic of Tatarstan arrived at the twenty-second republican School of Safety competition. They gathered to once again demonstrate in practice their skills in surviving in extreme situations, which they had previously studied on the subject of the basics of life safety.
The organizers of the republican movement "School of Safety" are the Ministry of Civil Defense and Emergency Situations of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Tatarstan.
First, the grand opening ceremony of the republican School of Safety competitions took place. The participants went to the honorable formation. Andrey Orlov, Acting Minister of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Tatarstan, addressed the children with a welcoming speech.
The best teams of the republic arrived with a set of mandatory group and personal equipment necessary for field deployment.
The stage begins with the installation of a tent. A tent is considered to be perfectly placed only when its sides do not have a single fold or sag. Not all teams were able to meet these requirements. Further– it is even more difficult – crossing on parallel railings, traverse, mounted crossing, descending a steep slope using safety ropes and a number of other difficult stages, some of which required not only strength and endurance, but also logical thinking.
The School of Safety competitions are held in several stages, these are municipal, republican, regional and All-Russian levels. The strongest regional competition teams are gathered here. Students will be able to complete their challenging strength and creativity marathon only next Friday. On this day, the award ceremony for the winners and prize-winners of the competition will take place and the closing ceremony will take place.
