Volunteers were awarded in the "Service 112"
Andrey Kozlov, Acting Director of the state budgetary institution of the Republic of Tatarstan "Emergency Call Service - 112", presented thanks to the volunteers who, during the international multisport event "Sports Games of the BRICS Countries" in Kazan from June 11 to 23, 2024, provided assistance to specialists of GBI "Service-112" in receiving calls from foreign citizens.
During the multisport event, more than 72 thousand calls were received to the single emergency number 112, of which 17 messages on the issue of ensuring the safety of the BRICS games (including 8 on assistance to foreign citizens).
The largest number of calls were to the emergency medical service. All those who applied were provided with timely assistance by emergency operational services. The specialists of the 112 Service kept the incidents with foreign citizens under control until the arrival of emergency services.
