In the detachment of the Management of Contractual divisions of the Federal Fire Service in the Republic of Tatarstan, firefighters held competitions among the links of the gas and smoke protection service
In order to improve the professionalism and coherence of the work of gas and smoke defenders, competitions among the gas and smoke protection service units were held at the training complex of the 31 fire and rescue units. 20 units from 5 fire and rescue units of the detachment took part in the competition.
These competitions among the gas and smoke protection units are held annually, and have already become traditional.
The main stages in the competition are – checking the readiness of personal protective equipment of the respiratory and visual organs, carrying out calculations of the main parameters of work, overcoming the elements of the fire zone of psychological training of firefighters, rescue and evacuation of the "victim" from the third floor of the training tower, elimination of a conditional fire source (target damage), conducting reconnaissance in the smoke chamber, evacuation of material valuables, etc. verification of theoretical knowledge.
The title of the best and the first place was won by 31 fire and rescue units. The second place belongs to the gas and smoke defenders of the 76 fire and rescue unit. The third place was assigned to unit No. 28 of the fire and rescue unit.
