In Zelenodolsk, a «fire» at an oil depot was successfully eliminated

    Large-scale command and staff exercises were held two years ago in the warehouse of petroleum products of Svyaz Petroleum LLC. Then they practiced the actions of rescue units in the aftermath of the spill of oil and petroleum products. This time the scenario is different – as a result of violations of the rules during draining and filling operations, static electricity was rarefied and the tank caught fire. There was a threat to the life and health of people.
    The main purpose of the fire-tactical exercises is to work out joint actions of representatives of the facility and personnel of fire protection units to extinguish fires at oil products storage and processing facilities.
