The Chief State Inspector of the Republic of Tatarstan for small vessels Yuri Venediktov spoke about the situation with the death of people on the water and safety measures

    As Yuri Venediktov noted, the situation on the water bodies of the Republic of Tatarstan is extremely difficult. Since the beginning of the year, 55 people have already died on the water in the republic, and 45 people have died since the beginning of the bathing season. 
    The main reason is bathing in unequipped places. For this reason, 44 people died on the water. Also, more than 50% of people die when bathing in unequipped places while intoxicated. 
    If the child is in the water, then the parent should be in the water at arm's length from the child. You need to swim in the reservoirs known to you, where you have already bathed repeatedly. It is best if these are beaches or places where lifeguards are on duty.
