Sabantuy of fire volunteers: both a competition and a holiday! The grand opening ceremony of the XII republican competitions among the volunteer fire protection units took place today at the stadium of the Park of Culture and Recreation "Zakazanye" in the district center of Vysokaya Gora.
A parade of participants consisting of 45 teams, demonstration performances of cadet students, a festive concert, landing from an airplane of a team of parachutists, various competitions of the national holiday Sabantuy. Today, employees of the State Fire Supervision, as well as public figures of the All-Russian Voluntary Fire Society in honor of the 130th anniversary of the VFP were congratulated on the 95th anniversary.
Today, the best of the best volunteer fire brigades gathered on this Maidan to compete for the titles of "The Best team of the Republic", as well as "The Best volunteer Firefighter". The winner of the competition will receive a fire truck based on the ARS-14. For the second place - a mobile fire extinguishing post, and for the third place - a motor pump.
The ceremonial part continued with the awarding of distinguished employees and volunteers. The children presented memorable souvenirs to the representatives of the teams.
While the teams were preparing for the starts, a varied festive and entertainment program was waiting for the guests.
The races were held on two tracks. After the start, the participants overcame a fence and a fire boom on the run, after which they provided first aid to the victim. Points were also taken into account based on the results of the presentation of the VFP team, where the conditions of maintenance of the premises of the voluntary fire protection and special equipment were assessed.
The title of the strongest was won by the voluntary fire brigade "Kaymary" of the Vysokogorsk municipal district. Together with the winner's certificate, they were handed the keys to the ARS-14 car – the main prize of the competition. In second place - representatives of the WPC "Nizhnyaya Uratma" of the Nizhnekamsk municipal district. The top three winners were closed by the fire volunteers "Verkhniye Andyrchi" of the Apastovo municipal district, who received a fire engine pump as a prize.
