Scientific and historical route
The trip of the employees of the Almetyevsk contractual detachment was to the Shugurov Oil Museum, located on the territory of the dismantled bitumen plant right in the open air. So the firefighting tourists not only learned a lot about the industrial history of the region, but also explored the unique natural landscape.
The walk through the territory also turned out to be a time travel, which opened the era of the origin of the oil refining industry for the group. Firefighters also learned a lot of interesting facts about the opening of the first wells of Tatarstan oil, the development of production technologies, saw wooden rocking chairs and primitive drilling rigs.
But about the next exhibit of the museum, the firefighters were ready to tell the guide themselves. The bright red building of the fire station is well known to guests. And also, to the applause of colleagues, they tried a manual fire pump in the case.
The journey through time ended with a stop dedicated to the era of the USSR, where the guests plunged into nostalgia for the times of their youth, remembered their first modes of transport and the attributes of the Soviet pioneer.
