ATTENTION! INCREASED FINES FOR VIOLATION OF FIRE SAFETY REQUIREMENTS
Since June 8, 2022, updated fines for violation of fire safety requirements and fire safety rules in forests will come into force.
Responsibility for violation of fire safety requirements, which may threaten citizens in the country:
- Fried kebabs on the site, if the barbecue is closer than 5 meters from the house, fence or gazebo – a warning or a fine of 5000-15000 rubles;
- fried shish kebabs outside their suburban area during the period of the special fire protection regime – a fine of 10000-20000 rubles;
- the picnic ended in a fire, someone else's property was damaged, damage to human health of light or moderate severity was caused – a fine of 40000-50000 rubles;
The bill was initiated by the Legislative Assembly of the Kemerovo region. The Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia supported these measures. According to the ministry, increasing responsibility for violation of fire safety rules in forests will encourage citizens, officials and legal entities to strictly comply with fire safety requirements and prevent the occurrence of fires. All this will minimize fire damage.
The specified Federal Law comes into force on June 8 of the current year.
