Squads of young firefighters competed in Zainsk
On the basis of Zainsk school No. 4, competitions for the championship of Squads of young firefighters among students of schools in Zainsk and Zainsk district have ended. This event was held by the Department of Supervision and Preventive Work in the Zainsk municipal district together with the firefighters of SRU-88 and public activists of the Tatarstan regional branch of the All-Russian Voluntary Fire Society.
32 schoolchildren representing 8 teams took part in the exciting competitions. The main goals and objectives of the competition are to improve the skills of effective use of primary fire extinguishing means and promotion of the profession of the fire service, as well as organized management of Squads of young firefighters and identification of the most combat-ready squads among them.
For the overall victory, the guys needed to show both good physical fitness and knowledge of the theory of the basics of fire safety.
The most exciting part of the competition was the team fire relay, consisting of four stages. At the first stage, the participant starts with a fire barrel, runs 80 meters, overcoming the fence, and passes the fire barrel to the second participant.
According to the results of the competition, the winners and prize-winners were awarded with diplomas and valuable gifts. The winners received sports bags, silver medalists - volleyballs, bronze – a set for playing badminton.
