The forces and means of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in the Republic of Tatarstan and the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Tatarstan are fielding an enhanced grouping to ensure the safety of the "Holy Bulgarian Cathedral" festival. The festival is dedicated to the celebration of the 1100th anniversary of the official adoption of Islam by Volga Bulgaria, it will be held on May 21 on the territory of the Bulgarian Historical and Architectural Museum-Reserve.
Fire departments with special equipment will be on duty at each significant object of the festival. Federal fire protection officers from neighboring districts of the republic have been involved to strengthen fire safety.
