Pull-up on the crossbar: Nizhnekamsk firefighters revealed the strongest athletes
The day before, competitions among personnel took place in the city of petrochemicals, in which 14 teams took part in the number of fire and rescue units that are part of the Nizhnekamsk fire brigade. 11 people from each division showed their capabilities on the horizontal bar: firefighters, fire truck drivers, fire prevention engineers, as well as the leadership of fire and rescue units.
SRU-92 was recognized as the winner in the team competition, its representatives pulled up 235 times in total! The second step of the podium was taken by the SRU-90 team with a result of 231 repetitions. Athletes of SRU-44 closed the top three winners, 217 repetitions were counted for them.
44 pull–ups - this is the best personal result of the competition. It belongs to the undisputed favorite, multiple winner of republican and All-Russian competitions of professional and sports skills, commander of the SRU-92 department Leonid Sovetnikov! The silver medalist, having pulled himself up 37 times, was the operational duty officer of the fire extinguishing service Timur Akhtyamov. The bronze medal was won by the commander of the SRU-44 department Sergey Romanov - 33 repetitions.
