With traditional food packages, colorful postcards, cash prizes and, most importantly, with the warmest and most sincere congratulations on the upcoming Great Victory Day, the employees of the 8th fire and rescue squad came to the respected veteran of the Zelenodolsk fire department - Valiulla Hafizovich Hafizov.
The years take their toll. Now, out of more than 30 participants of the Great Patriotic War who worked in the Zelenodolsk fire department, not a single one is left alive. The only veteran of the fire department is Valiulla Hafizovich Hafizov, a home front worker. Zelenodolsk firefighters maintain contact with the aksakal constantly, visit not only on festive dates, help in solving everyday issues. More recently, Valiulla Hafizovich himself was a regular guest of honor at various events of the 8th detachment, actively participated in the life of the garrison. Now the health is no longer the same, the veteran practically does not leave the house. "92 years is no joke!" he remarks with a smile. During the war years, he fully endured all the hardships of a difficult life in the rear. When the war started, he was 10 years old. He lived in the village, worked on a collective farm and, as the veteran himself recalls, was constantly starving. He constantly shares his memories and experiences of those distant years with his young colleagues. Valiulla Hafizovich has spent almost thirty years serving in the fire department. He worked as a guard chief and fire prevention inspector in the 52nd fire department at the Zelenodolsk plant named after A.M.Gorky. He can still talk about his service for hours. At the same time, Valiulla Hafizovich is constantly interested in news, changes and the latest events in the life of his unit. He is happy for his young colleagues and worries about their service.
This time, the head of SRU-52 Igor Klimin came to Valiulla Hafizov with congratulations and gifts. On behalf of the entire personnel of the 8th fire and rescue squad, he congratulated the 92-year-old veteran, presented gifts, sincerely thanked and wished Valiulla Hafizovich and his whole family good health, kindness, prosperity!
