Young firefighters took the oath of the EMERCOM
On April 30, employees of the fire service celebrate their professional holiday. In Zelenodolsk district there are more than three hundred firefighters and rescuers who serve regardless of holidays and weekends. On the eve of the Day of Fire Protection of Russia, Zelenodolsk firefighters held a solemn ceremony of taking the oath by young employees of the fire service.
The oath-taking ceremony by young employees in the 8th Fire and Rescue Squad was revived in 2014, when a monument to war veterans, home front workers and combatants was solemnly unveiled on the territory of 52 units. Now the oath is taken twice a year - on the Day of Fire protection and on the Day of the Rescuer of Russia.
According to the old tradition, it is necessary to wash off the soot and soot accumulated over the years of service with water from those who leave for a well-deserved rest. And so they did. And at the end of the holiday - a traditional shared photo for memory and the most sincere congratulations on the Day of the Fire Protection of Russia.
