From April 25 to May 15, Tatarstan introduced a complete ban on burning dry grass and garbage throughout the republic

25 April 2022, Monday

Maxim Trushchin, Deputy Chief State Inspector of the Republic of Tatarstan for Fire Supervision, informed journalists about such restrictive measures during the special fire regime, which is being introduced in Tatarstan from April 25 to May 15, at a briefing by Tatmedia.
After the snow melts, dead wood appears in the fields and near forests, which threatens the development and spread of fires with the transition to forests and settlements. A significant part of fires occur due to uncontrolled burning (burning of last year's dry grass, straw and garbage).
This is also connected with the cleaning of garden plots (burning garbage and grass), mass departure of the population to nature (campfires, carelessness when smoking, etc.), which, as a rule, creates a risk of natural and forest fires and often leads to serious consequences.
