In honor of the Soviet Fire Protection Day, the staff of the Center for Fire Propaganda and Public Relations of the Kazan Fire and Rescue Garrison arranged an exciting excursion to the fire protection Museum for first-graders of the 12th school from the Novo-Savinov district of Kazan. When the kids got acquainted with the history of firefighting and went out into the fresh air, they were waiting for an even more interesting continuation – a visual study of the capabilities of modern fire and rescue equipment.
The young guests learned about how and with what fires were extinguished and how fires were prevented in tsarist Russia, in the Soviet Union and in modern Russia.
The children were told where and how to hide from the fire. In no case should you hide under the sofa, it is better to go out on the balcony and call for help from adults. They also repeated the phones that need to call the fire department – this is 101 and 112 is common for all emergency services.
