Hydrological situation on April 17
Spring filling continues at the Kuibyshev reservoir. In the past day, water levels within the territory of Tatarstan have increased by 5 – 40 cm.
In the Nizhnekamsk reservoir , a decrease in the height of water levels by 1 – 4 cm was observed over the past day .
The development of spring ice phenomena continues in the Kuibyshev and Nizhnekamsk reservoirs. Spring ice drift of varying intensity is observed in most of the Kuibyshev reservoir. On the Nizhnekamsk reservoir, there is an outflow of water on the ice, ice drift in the dam areas.
On the rivers of the republic , there is a predominant decrease in the flood wave with a daily intensity from 18 to 171 cm .
On some rivers of the republic , water levels continue to rise by 2 – 14 cm .
Water levels on rivers are observed at levels below dangerous values by 125 – 483 cm .
