The conditional natural fire was successfully eliminated: the third stage of the All-Russian command and staff exercises was completed
Today, during the third stage of the All-Russian command and staff exercises, the management bodies, the forces of the territorial subsystem of the RSES of the Republic of Tatarstan, forest fire formations and units of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia practically practiced extinguishing wildfires and the threat to the population from such fires. In accordance with the plan of the exercises and the introductory, a grass-roots fire occurred on the territory of the Chistopolsky district of the Republic of Tatarstan, the area of which was more than 25 hectares. There was a threat of a fire crossing to the locality of Luch, with a population of 1,700 people. There is a school, a kindergarten and 563 residential buildings in the settlement.
The purpose of the exercises is to check the readiness of management bodies and forces to respond to situations that arise in the republic to extinguish wildfires, as well as to work out issues of interaction between management bodies and the Emergency Situations Ministry forces in extinguishing wildfires and improve the practical skills of forest fire formations and units of the Russian Emergencies Ministry to extinguish wildfires.
