The second stage of the All-Russian exercises. Rescue operations were carried out in Kazan in the zone of conditional flooding
According to the legend of the exercises, as a result of a sharp increase in air temperature and heavy snowmelt, there was a sharp rise in the water level on the river, which led to flooding of residential buildings in two villages Aki and Novaya Sosnovka. 36 houses with a population of 97 people, including 25 children, fell into the flood zone. Socially significant objects were not included in the flooding zone.
The forces and means of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in the Republic of Tatarstan were alerted and began to eliminate the consequences of the emergency situation.
In total, 257 people and 59 pieces of equipment were involved in practical activities in Tatarstan as part of the second stage of the exercise, including 139 people and 23 pieces of equipment from the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
