The flood situation in the Republic is under the control of the MD of the EMERCOM of the Russian Federation for the Republic of Tatarstan
Every day during the flood situation, the operational duty shift of the Crisis Management Center of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Tatarstan receives information from 33 stationary hydrological posts and 83 temporary hydrological posts of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Tatarstan on the state of the river level.
For each message, the response of forces and means of local self-government bodies, as well as operational groups of local fire and rescue garrisons, is organized.
Special attention is now paid to the Volga region - these are areas such as Buinsk, Kaibitsk, Zelenodolsk, Apastovо where the worst-case scenario of flooding may occur. To date, operational groups of both local fire and rescue garrisons and local self-government bodies are working in all municipalities.
