On March 31, 2022, Presidential Plenipotentiary Representative Igor Komarov held a meeting of the Security Board in Nizhny Novgorod. Topic: countering the spread of destructive movements among young people, such as "schoolshooting" and "Columbine".
Young people, schoolchildren and students, are at high risk of the influence of destructive currents, depressive-aggressive content distributed, including through social networks. The involvement of young people is also facilitated by the unfavorable situation and problems with socialization in society. In this regard, special attention should be paid to the study of the moral and psychological climate in collectives, the Internet activity of students in social networks.
During the meeting of the Board, reports were heard and the work of law enforcement and supervisory authorities of the Volga Federal District was analyzed in detail and a further algorithm of actions was developed.
