«Fireball» by Zelenodolsk
Competitions in fire mini-football ("Fireball") were held by Zelenodolsk firefighters for the first time this year. The main distinguishing feature is the game in full combat equipment of firefighters and in personal protective equipment of respiratory organs and vision. Such competitions have already been held in other cities and regions of Russia. Now Tatarstan firefighters have followed their example.
Teams of fire and rescue units of the 8th squad gathered at the Kolotov city stadium. General formation, greeting and short briefing… Two teams played simultaneously on two fields.
According to the firefighters themselves, such a sport not only trains their physical and professional skills, but also strengthens relationships in the team. After all, both competitions and a real fire require a cohesive team, the right decisions of the captain and good training of firefighters.
