Fire-tactical exercise: Nizhnekamsk firefighters liquidated a fire in conditions of heavy smoke
A fire in the production of automobile tires implies the occurrence of severe smoke. The thick black smoke of burning tires creates an inhospitable environment. This means that fire protection units must rely on the experience and skills of combat work of the gas and smoke protection service units.
The personnel of the detachment of the Federal Fire Service of the Nizhnekamsk branch of the Department of Contractual Divisions in the Republic of Tatarstan conducted a training fire-tactical exercise at the protected facility of PJSC Nizhnekamskshina. According to the plan of the exercise, a rubber compound caught fire in the assembly shop for the production of protectors.
By the 28th minute after the alarm was announced, the fire was localized and then eliminated. The actions of the fire protection units received a satisfactory assessment.
