One of the most effective means of detecting fires and preventing the death of people on them are autonomous fire detectors, which at the initial stage notify the residents of the house about the occurrence of a fire, emitting a continuous sound signal that can wake up a sleeping person. Timely detection of the beginning of a fire significantly reduces the risk of destruction of real estate and the death of people in fires.
In order to ensure timely detection of a fire at an early stage of its development, notification of a fire to residents for their evacuation from a burning house (apartment), a charity event was initiated to equip autonomous fire detectors for houses (apartments) of families in a socially dangerous situation, dependent on which there are minor children, large families (5 or more children) who are not in a socially dangerous situation and disabled people who are registered with social protection agencies, as well as veterans of the Great Patriotic War.
From 2016 to 2020, according to the Presidential Program, 153 804 autonomous fire detectors were installed in 39,939 households of various categories of the population.
