Combat deployment: Nizhnekamsk firefighters reveal the strongest guards on duty
Competitions in the skill of performing elements of combat work are an integral part of evaluating and improving the professional level of employees of fire departments.
In the detachment of the Federal Fire Service of the Nizhnekamsk branch of the Department of Contractual Units in the Republic of Tatarstan, a general check of the skills of the personnel of fire and rescue units is carried out several times a year and the beginning of spring is the traditional time for combat deployment competitions.
The practical task contains the main elements of the actions of the guard on duty when working to eliminate a fire: installing a fire truck on a source of fire-fighting water supply, laying a hose line at a considerable distance from the tanker, feeding manual and carriage trunks, using a ladder to access a high-rise platform and rescuing a conditional victim with a rescue rope.
During the four days of the competition, 52 guards demonstrated their professional skills, strength, dexterity and teamwork. According to the results of the first day of the competition, where the guards of the 2nd shift performed, the three best results were shown by representatives of FRU-92, FRU-33 and FRU-44.
