The EMERCOM of Russia develops cooperation with the International Civil Defense Organization
World Civil Defense Day is celebrated on March 1. The International Civil Defense Organization (ICDO) is the only intergovernmental organization that specializes in the field of civil defense and protection of the population at the international level.
As part of the celebration of the World Civil Defense Day, the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia organized events throughout the country: informational and educational classes, exhibitions of fire and rescue equipment, modern and rare equipment, equipment, tools, means of rescue and property of civil defense, scientific and practical conferences, Internet quizzes, quests and contests for knowledge of actions in case of emergencies among children and youth, press tours to civil defense defenses. All-Russian open lessons dedicated to the significant date are held in educational institutions.
