We will always come to the rescue: the children got acquainted with the profession of a lifeguard
As part of the 90th anniversary of Civil Defense and on the eve of Defender of the Fatherland Day, students of Kazan Gymnasium No. 3 invited representatives of one of the courageous professions - rescuers of the Kazan Search and Rescue Squad to learn more about this noble profession and personally meet brave people and their four-legged assistants.
In a small school area, children tightly surrounded the rescuers' car to see and hear everything from the lips of professionals. Senior duty shift Alexey Dyatlov told the second graders that the main thing in the profession is people, professionals in their field.
And most of all, the children were delighted with a rescue dog named Gretta. In 2021, she became the best dog in Russia in the nomination "The best service rescue dog of Russia". Rescue dog handler Svyatoslav Yakovlev, who was also recognized as the best rescue dog handler of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia by the end of 2021, told the guys that his pupil is already a rescue dog in the second generation.
And this is not the first, and not the last visit of rescuers to educational institutions. Employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations constantly come to the children and are happy to talk about their profession.
