Over the past 11 years, the Tatarstan Central Committee of the EMERCOM of Russia has been recognized as the best among 85 territorial bodies of the Federal Ministry of Emergency Situations for the fourth time - according to the results of 2010, 2013, 2017 and 2021. This decision was made at a meeting of the commission of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia on summing up the results of the competition for the title of "The Best Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in the subject of the Russian Federation" based on the results of activities for 2021.
None of the Main Departments of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in the constituent entities of the Russian Federation has achieved such well-deserved recognition. For the first time, the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in the Republic of Tatarstan was recognized as the best in Russia by the results of 2010. Thanks to the support of the President and the Government of Tatarstan, more than 100 units of fire and special equipment were purchased at the expense of the republican budget in 2010. 87 units of the fire service of the Republic of Tatarstan took up combat duty, which made it possible to provide protection from the fire element to almost the entire rural population of the republic.
In the same year, the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in the Republic of Tatarstan and the entire republican system of Emergency Situations took unprecedented measures to combat wildfires in the hot summer of 2010. But the main event was the exemplary holding in August 2010 in Kazan of the First World Championship in fire and rescue sports among young men.
