Nizhnekamsk firefighters liquidated a conditional fire on the drain-filling overpass of the PJSC "Nizhnekamskneftekhim" facility

According to the plan of the exercises, a pipeline rupture occurred on an overpass intended for the shipment of hydrocarbon raw materials to railway tanks. This led to the bottling of hexane with its subsequent ignition. There was a threat of fire passing to neighboring tanks and their explosion from an increase in temperature and pressure in them.
The fire was localized and then completely eliminated within 40 minutes from the moment of the announcement of the training alarm. The actions of the personnel of the fire protection units and the personnel of the facility received a satisfactory assessment.
