On January 20, the Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia, Lieutenant General Nikolai Grechushkin, arrived in Kazan on a working trip. He took part in summing up the activities of subsystems of Tatarstan and the Volga region in 2021 and setting tasks for 2022, and also got acquainted with the activities of a number of departments of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia.
In total, with the support of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia and the President of the Republic of Tatarstan, 50 units of equipment have been taken into account over the past two years and 75 fire and rescue vehicles have been overhauled.
In turn, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan Alexey Pesoshin stressed that over the past years, Tatarstan has successfully implemented measures aimed at improving the material and technical equipment of the departments of the department.
After that, the guests of honor took part in the opening ceremony of the XVII All-Russian Fire and Rescue Sports competitions for the Cup of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan, in which about 400 people from 15 subjects of the Russian Federation take part.
Addressing the guests and participants of the competition, Deputy Head of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia Nikolai Grechushkin said that fire-applied and fire-rescue sports are the sport of strong and brave people. He also stressed that currently the Government of the Russian Federation has adopted a program of re-equipment of the Russian Emergencies Ministry until 2030, which will provide new equipment to fire and rescue units of the Russian Emergencies Ministry.
