Viktor Ivanovich was born in the village of Busikha, Kuibyshev district. He graduated from the "seven-year school", and in 1950, he and his family moved to Zelenodolsk. As a 14-year-old teenager, he entered the Vocational School of the plant named after him.Gorky. Then-service in the army. In the Guards Ulyanovsk Tank School named after V. I. Lenin, he served for four years. When he returned to Zelenodolsk, he worked for a short time at the Volga Plywood and Furniture Factory. And in 1965, abruptly decided to link his life with the fire department. He began his service as a junior inspector in the fire department of the Gorky plant.
- When I first started my service, our fire department was still professional, non-military, - the veteran recalls. – We protected one of the largest enterprises-the Gorky plant-from fires. There were many orders for large vessels and ships, including for the Navy. They built patrol ships "Jaguar", mine-torpedo" Stand", small landing ships" Scat " on an air cushion. The work was serious and stressful. Moreover, in addition to the protection of the plant, our units went to the fires in the residential sector of Zelenodolsk.
From the position of junior inspector, head of the guard, he went through all the steps of the service ladder. In 1987, when the 8th squad of the fire service was formed, Viktor Ivanovich was appointed to the post of head of HPV-52. He worked in this position for nine years.
