Today workers of the separate post on the protection of the village of Bolshie Tarkhany of Apastovo squad of fire service of the Republic of Tatarstan conducted an open day for students of the 3rd course of Tetyushi State Civil Defense College. The excursion began with watching fire technique and fire arms. The children passed tests on battle deployment, laid hose lines. Firefighters of the separate post showed them the work with manual combined hydraulic tool.

By the Decree of the Board of Ministers of RSFSR as of June 15, 1984 No. 259 ‘About measures on ordering the use of small vessels in RSFSR’ the State Inspectorate on Small Vessels was established. Today, about 100 GIMS employees serve in Tatarstan. Their main task first of all is to provide people’s safety on water bodies.

Incidents as of June 13:

Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 66 times. Including garbage extinguishing – 8, false alarms – 21, short circuit of wiring without burning – 3, meal burning – 3, cooperation with other services – 18. Firefighters of the republic eliminated 11 fires: residential sector – 4, outhouses – 2, garden houses – 4.

Regional competitions of search and rescue cynology crews of subjects of the Russian Federation of Volga Federal District which passed in Nizhny Novgorod Oblast finished with the victory of Kazan and Naberezhnye Chelny branches’ teams in total score. The competitions were attended by 49 cynology crews.

Within republican the ‘Clean Forests of Tatarstan’ nature protection action announced by the Ministry of Forestry of the republic from April 25 until June 25 and the second stage from September 15 until November 15, 2017, employees of the 8th squad actively participated in garbage collecting in the forest park zone in the center of the city of Zelenodolsk. The action was attended by 50 people of the squad, who did not engaged in service that day.

Dear citizens! On June 14, on the territory of the Republic of Tatarstan and the city of Kazan the followings are expected at places:

- strong South wind with gusts up to 15-20 m/s, in the afternoon locally up to 23 m/s (in Kazan up to 15-20 m/s);

- heavy rain, thunderstorm, hail locally.

The final stage of republican competitions on forces and means deploy among contract department of federal fire service of the state fire service of the Republic of Tatarstan passed in Naberezhnye Chelny on a square next to the city ‘Organ Hall’. Eight departments from four contract fire squads of the republic fought for the title of the best. The competition’s solemn opening was attended by the Chief of the department of firefighting organization and rescue operations conducting, Colonel of inner service, Konstantin Chanyshev, the Head of the Executive Committee of the city of Naberezhnye Chelny, and other honorary guests of residents of the city.

To attract veterans to participate in public events, military and patriotic education of the youth, propaganda of knowledge and traditions of fire service, as well as to help to improve living conditions of veterans – these are main tasks of the work of veterans organization of the 8th squad of federal fire service. Within the gathering of chairmen of the Board of Veterans, heads of veterans organizations of EMERCOM of Russia for Volga Federal Okrug could value the level of this work. Honorary guests visited Raifa Bogoroditsky Friary and the fire and rescue department No. 52 of the 8th squad of federal fire service for the Republic of Tatarstan.
