In the honor of the Cynologist Day joint project with the participation of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan ‘A Dosg Is a Friend of Man’ involving main bloodhounds of special services of the Republic of Tatarstan started on the Woman’s Day site of women magazine.

Today, in the building of the city Town Hall at opening of XVII session of Kazan City Duma within the Civil Defense Year in EMERCOM of Russia system, Chief of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan, Minister of Civil Defense and Emergency Situations of the Republic of Tatarstan, Lieutenant-General Rafis Khabibullin gave awards of EMERCOM of Russia. He thanked the City Hall, Executive Committee and Kazan City Duma collectives, as well as the leadership of the city for cooperative job on safety provision to citizens of the republic capital.

Incidents as of June 20:

Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 43 times. Including garbage extinguishing – 3, false alarms – 6, short circuit of wiring without burning – 4, meal burning – 6, cooperation with other services – 18. Firefighters of the republic eliminated 3 fires: outhouses – 1, vehicles – 1, various types of property – 1.

Thanks to quadruped rescuers, more than 2 thousand people have been saved since the department foundation. The service stuff is composed of more than 600 crews of cynologists of federal, municipal, freelance and public rescue formations in each district of the country. At the moment, 442 cynology crew of EMERCOM of Russia are certified for working (341 search and rescue, 36 mountain avalanche, 26 mine detection, 4 on searching bodied of deceased and 35 on searching on the water).

Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 72 times. Including garbage extinguishing – 9, false alarms – 20, short circuit of wiring without burning – 1, meal burning – 4, cooperation with other services – 22. Firefighters of the republic eliminated 5 fires: residential sector – 2, outhouses – 1, vehicles – 2. 1 person died.

Incidents as of June 18:

Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 57 times. Including garbage extinguishing – 3, false alarms – 15, short circuit of wiring without burning – 2, meal burning – 4, cooperation with other services – 19. Firefighters of the republic eliminated 5 fires: residential sector – 2, outhouses – 1, garden houses – 1, various types of property – 1.

In order to provide safety of conducting 2017 FIFA Confederations Cup, prohibition of vessels navigation on a part of river Kazanka. There were defined restricted areas, during June 18, 22, 24 and 28, 2017 from 12.00 PM until 00.00 AM on river Kazanka from railway bridge to the Millenium bridge.

Incidents as of June 15:

Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 55 times. Including garbage extinguishing – 0, false alarms – 12, short circuit of wiring without burning – 9, meal burning – 3, cooperation with other services – 20. Firefighters of the republic eliminated 6 fires: residential sector – 2. 6 people were rescued.

On June 16, 2017 at 2.45 AM there was received report about burning on the territory of the gunpowder factory. The fire area was 300 sq. m. By the arrival of first fire and rescue departments, there was burning in one of separate buildings on the factory territory. There was no threat to the citizens of Kazan. At 4.00 AM the fire was localized on the area of 400 sq. m, at 4.22 AM the open burning was eliminated. There are no injured and dead.
