Today, in the frame of Month of safety a funny and cognitive holiday “Safety Lessons” was held in “Kyrlay” city park for little Kazan citizens. The entertaining show was organized by the staff of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan together with CJSC "Kazgorseti" company and Office of the State Traffic Safety Inspectorate (GIBDD) of Kazan.
On September 4, 2014, the delegation of representatives from the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the RT and EMERCOM of RT, headed by deputy ministers of civil defense and emergency situations of RT, N. V. Surzhko and E. M. Fazleev, visited the teachers college on behalf of the minister of civil defense and emergency situations of RT, Khabibullin R. Z. and the initiative of Tetyushsky Municipal District Administration.
Employees of fire department №60 from Yudino of 7th detachment of Federal Fire Service were the winners of city competitions among units of gas and smoke protection service of Kazan fire service garrison. According to the results of the competitions, that finished on the eve at the polygon of fire department №7, Yudino firefighters passed ahead their opponents from FD-76 that represented 5th detachment of FFS for RT. The third place was taken by the team from special fire department №3 of special department 35.
On the early school days firefighters of 16th detachment of Federal Fire Service for RT and employees of supervisory activities of Nizhnekamsk visit children and remind pupils about fire safety measures. Such thematic lectures are held in all educational institutions of the city and its district in the frame of Month of Children’s Safety.
Incidents for September 4:
Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia on the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 58 times. Including burning garbage extinguishing – 6. Firefighters of the republic eliminated – 6 fires, 4 of them in residential sector.
Causes of the fires are following: careless handling of fire – 1, violation of electrical equipment installation rules – 1, violation of fire safety rules during furnace use – 1, violation of household appliance use rules – 1, defect in vehicle systems, mechanisms and components – 1, violation of electrical equipment use rules – 1,
Missions of fire departments on rescuing at the elimination of the consequences of traffic accidents – 24 times. 2 persons were rescued.
Missions of voluntary fire protection units on fire fighting – 1.
Missions of search and rescue units of EMERCOM of RT – 10 times. Including: door unblocking – 2, traffic accident – 1, lessons with pupils of educational institutions – 4, safety provision at event – 2, others – 1.
Newcomers came to the Republican special secondary school named Nafis Gallyamov. Employees of the Tatarstan republic VDPO department organized a holiday for the children. They also demonstrated their summer accomplishments.
Open Day for high school students of Big Shemyakino village of Tetyushsky District of the Republic of Tatarstan was held in the separate post for the protection of the village of Big Shemyakino of Apastovsky Detachment of Firefighting Service of the Republic of Tatarstan. The workers showed the children their fire equipment, told about fire engines in detail. Guests of the fire department could not only witness the extinguishing means, but also try real firefighters’ clothes.

Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia on the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 57 times. Including burning garbage extinguishing – 4, dry grass extinguishing – 0. Firefighters of the republic eliminated – 5 fires, 1 of them in residential sector.
Causes of the fires are following: violation of fire safety rules during works with fire – 2, violation of electrical equipment installation rules – 1, violation of electrical equipment use rules – 1, careless handling of fire – 1.
Missions of fire departments on rescuing at the elimination of the consequences of traffic accidents – 26 times. 1 persons were rescued.
Missions of voluntary fire protection units on fire fighting – 2.
Missions of search and rescue units of EMERCOM of RT – 10 times. Including: door unblocking – 3, traffic accident – 1, trainings – 2, searching for lost mushroomers (2 women, found) – 1, safety provision at event – 1, holding open classes at school – 1, others – 1.
The polygon of firehouse №7 of Kazan became the venue for the competitions of units of gas and smoke protection service of fire departments of Kazan fire protection garrison. This year, 25 teams went to start of the city lap representing fire brigades of 7th FPS squad for RT, 5th FPS squad for RT, as well as a special FPS department №35. Employees of these departments are on fire safety duty of residential properties and fire hazardous industries. This year's competitions, which are devoted to the memory of employees died in the line of duty, have been held for the 36th time.
