Kazan Firefighters Determine Best Gas and Smoke Protection Unit

The polygon of firehouse №7 of Kazan became the venue for the competitions of units of gas and smoke protection service of fire departments of Kazan fire protection garrison. This year, 25 teams went to start of the city lap representing fire brigades of 7th FPS squad for RT, 5th FPS squad for RT, as well as a special FPS department №35. Employees of these departments are on fire safety duty of residential properties and fire hazardous industries. This year's competitions, which are devoted to the memory of employees died in the line of duty, have been held for the 36th time.

— These competitions are held to maintain the readiness of the Kazan garrison, to improve the professional skill level of workers of fire service — said the judge informant of the competitions, chief of FD-119, Rinat Minnulin. — The winner is determined by the best time of passage of the three stages and the results of theoretical knowledge. The best team will defend the honor of the Kazan garrison on the republican competitions, which will be held in Naberezhnye Chelny.
