Demonstrative trainings on responding of fire and rescue units to traffic accidents with the attraction of interacting emergency services and covering the media took place on the training ground of FD-72 of OFPS-15 for the Republic of Tatarstan. Attended ones: the department staff, pupils of the city, “03” services, STSI. 4 firefighter-rescuers at the command of deputy chief of SPT rushed to help people that got into an accident. In general, the trainings were completed "satisfactory". All elements on relieving victims from a vehicle and fire extinguishing were worked out.

To knit a rescue loop, to wear combat clothes quickly, to do chin-ups and climb the scaling-ladder up to the window of the training tower like a lightning – the best firefighters must be able to do that all. Today, during the republican contest for the title of “The best firefighter of departments of fire service of GKU “Fire Protection of the Republic of Tatarstan” that was held in Kazan on the basis of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan. 14 representatives of seven squads of GKU “Fire Protection of the Republic of Tatarstan” were competing for the honorary title.

Recently, in Palace of Culture of the village of Jalil there was a presentation of collection of poems of a poet, a member of the Writers' Union of the Republic, a veteran of fire protection, Indus Mardanshin. Unfortunately, that book became his last work. Universally respected and genuinely popular public figure did not live to see the publication of his collection just a couple of days. That day friends, colleagues, home-folks remembered about his difficult fate, noble work, creativity and good deeds that he managed to make as a people’s deputy and just as an indifferent person.

Incidents for September 24:

Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia on the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 77 times. Including burning garbage extinguishing – 21, dry grass extinguishing – 3. Firefighters of the republic eliminated – 11 fires, 4 of them in the residential sector. 1 person was rescued.

Causes of the fires are following: careless handling of fire – 4, violation of electrical equipment use rules – 3, arson – 2, violation of electrical equipment installation rules – 1, wrong installation and defect in heating stove and chimney – 1.

Missions of fire departments on rescuing at the elimination of the consequences of traffic accidents – 16 times. 3 persons were rescued.

Missions of voluntary fire protection units on fire fighting – 4.

Missions of search and rescue units of EMERCOM of RT – 9 times. Including: door unblocking – 3, searching operations on the water – 1, traffic accident – 2, others – 3.

Zelenodolsk firefighters held specious fire tactical trainings in a building of Zelenodolsky Mechanical College. Actions on evacuating the students, rescuing victims and extinguishing fires were worked during the trainings. According the trainings plan, a fire started in one of the cabinets on the second floor of the college building. As a result of the fire, there was a thick smoke on the whole floor. Duty guards arrived to the scene in a few minutes after the fire report via “01” number. Totally, 10 units of main and special fire techniques, 38 people of departments of Zelenodolsky garrison of fire protection were involved in the trainings. Its main purpose was to work out emergency evacuation of people at conditions as close as possible to a real fire.

Causes of the fires are following: violation of fire safety rules during electrical appliance use – 1, careless handling of fire – 2, violation of fire safety rules during furnace use – 2, violation of electrical equipment use rules – 1, arson – 2.

Missions of fire departments on rescuing at the elimination of the consequences of traffic accidents – 20 times. 2 persons were rescued.

Missions of voluntary fire protection units on fire fighting – 4.

Missions of search and rescue units of EMERCOM of RT – 12 times. Including: door unblocking – 5, searching operations on the water – 2, searching for the lost in the forest – 2, others – 4.

Volunteers of Nurlatsky District rescued private hay from total burnout in Novoe Iglaykino settlement of Nurlatsky District. Fire covered one of six bales of hay. DPO “Nurlatsete” arrived to the scene. By joint forces of local residents the volunteers could extinguish the fire until fire departments arrived.

In order to prevent fires in housing stock workers of the separate post on protection of Novyy Ubey village of Apastovsky squad of fire service of the Republic of Tatarstan held a round of residential houses of Novyy Ubey village of Drozhzhanovsky Municipal District of the Republic of Tatarstan. At this point, 145 houses are covered in the course of preventive measures. Firefighters paid special attention to places of residence of single old citizens, the disabled and disadvantaged families.
