In the frame of execution of the Decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan, leaders of 44 municipal districts appointed 236 special grounds for launching pyrotechnics by citizens. The duty of 17 employees of State Fire Inspection was organized to provide fire safety during the holiday fireworks. EMERCOM employees will be on duty at all objects, total 2274 people are involved. Also, fire techniques will be on duty at central fir-trees in the cities of the republic.
This ice passage shortens the way between Kazan and Verkhni Uslon about up to 70 km. Its everyday capacity is about one hundred cars in average. Before giving the go-ahead for the opening the ice road over the Volga, GIMS inspectors conducted its technical examination. The ice road is safe for passing cars carrying capacity of no more than 2.5 tons, for now.

On December 29, 2014, as a result of the technical inspection by GIMS inspectors, two ice passages were opened:
Instructors of Almetyevsk detachment of TRO VDPO, Guliza Khasanova and Aida Almukhametova, visited the orphanage of Almetyevsk to congratulate with the coming holiday. The workers gave the New Year gifts with the most sincere New Year wishes. Those gifts were purchased at the expense of the whole collective of Almetyevsk detachment of TRO VDPO. In addition to the sweet surprises the children were given the essentials: gloves, slippers and socks. At the same time, the workers of VDPO did not forget to remind the children about fire safety rules.
