The Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan received from FGBU “UGMS of the Republic of Tatarstan” a report-consultation on a sharp decrease in temperature on the territory of the Republic of Tatarstan in period between January 7 to 9, 2015. The main state inspector of RT for fire inspection Sergey Sergeev addressed to citizens with the warning about compliance with fire safety in the home.

Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 47 times. Including burning garbage extinguishing – 3. Firefighters of the republic eliminated – 13 fires, 5 of them in the residential sector.
Causes are: defect in vehicle systems, mechanisms and components – 1, violation of electrical equipment installation rules – 1, violation of electrical equipment use rules – 2, defect in heating stove – 2, careless handling of fire – 3, violation of fire safety rules during furnace use – 1, arson – 2, ascertain – 1.
Missions of fire departments on rescuing at the elimination of the consequences of traffic accidents – 10 times. 1 person was saved.
Missions of voluntary fire protection units on fire fighting – 2.

Today, Head of EMERCOM of Russia Vladimir Puchkov in videoconference mode has held a meeting on “About measures for prevention of emergency situations and fires during the period of New Year holidays in 2014-2015”. The studio in Kazan was attended by the Head of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan general-lieutenant of internal service Rafis Khabibullin, as well as other leaders. From January 1 to 2, 2015, there were no emergency situations and socially significant incidents on the territory of the Republic of Tatarstan.

An information on an explosion near Chinese market was received from a witness. The information was not confirmed. There was held an examination of the private sector and the territory of cooperative garages. At 17:44 EDDS received an information on a gas explosion in GSK “Koltso”. According to the preliminary information, there was a gas leakage from a methane cylinder which filled the ZIL-130 lorry.
Employees of the 8th Squad of Federal Fire Service for the Republic of Tatarstan went to congratulate families of internally displaced people of Ukraine that are accommodated in the “Vasilyevski” sanatorium. Total 42 citizens of Ukraine live in the sanatorium, 11 of which are the children under 14 years old. The employees gave little refugees holiday gifts.
