The Situation on the Territory of the Republic from January 1 to 3

Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 205 times. Firefighters of the republic eliminated – 20 fires, 7 of them in the residential sector. 13 people were saved.

Causes are: violation of electrical equipment installation rules – 5, carelessness when smoking – 3, careless handling of fire – 1, violation of fire safety rules during furnace use – 2, arson – 2, violation of household gas appliance use rules – 1, violation of fire safety rules during electrical equipment use – 2.

Missions of fire departments on rescuing at the elimination of the consequences of traffic accidents – 44 times. 27 people were saved.

Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for RT warn:

• do not abuse alcohol, never smoke in bed;

• do not leave children unattended, teach them basic rules of fire safety;

• never use faulty electrical wiring, do not overload the grid, use caution when using electric heaters;

• do not leave electrical and gas devices unattended.

Remember! Fire does not occur by itself.  Its cause is the human negligence and carelessness in handling of fire. An intoxicated person loses one’s control and actions, and all the more cannot bear any responsibility for another person's life.
