Four people family (including 2 children) were poisoned with domestic gas in Bugulma in an apartment building. All the victims are in a state of light severity, they were delivered to the central hospital of Bugulma. When the gas equipment was being inspected there was found a fault in chimney draft of water heating geyser. Dear residents! Gas demands the utmost attention. Do not use fault gas equipment, call workers of gas service, use services of only qualified professionals!
Recently, cases of carbon monoxide poisoning have become more often in the Republic of Tatarstan, including fatal cases. Just from January 3 to 10, 15 people, including 7 children, were poisoned by carbon monoxide. As stated by Chairman of Zelenodolsk District and City Department Council of Tatar Republican Department of “All-Russian Voluntary Firefighting Association” Ayrat Z. Kadyrov, the main causes of the incidents are absence, defect of wrong installation of chimneys, defect in safety automatics, violation of gas equipment use rules.

Incidents as of January 15:
Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 44 times. Including burning garbage extinguishing – 3. Firefighters of the republic eliminated – 6 fires, 2 of them in the residential sector.
Causes are: careless handling of fire – 2, violation of electrical equipment installation rules – 1, defect in heating stove – 1, ascertain – 2.
Missions of fire departments on rescuing at the elimination of the consequences of traffic accidents – 10 times. 1 person was saved.
Missions of voluntary fire protection units on fire fighting – 2.
Missions of search and rescue units of EMERCOM of RT – 12 times. Including: door unblocking – 5, traffic accident – 2, others – 2, cleaning up snow – 2, preventive talk with fishermen – 1.
Due to weather conditions the movement of cars in the ice passage Zelenodolsk – Nizhnie Viazovye was temporarily suspended. The respective technical conclusion was provided by inspectors of GIMS Center of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan.
On January 15, 2015 at 8:00 (msk), according to the results of the examination of GIMS Center of the Republic of Tatarstan because of the weather conditions the work of the ice passage Arakchino settlement – Verkhny Uslon village over the Volga was interrupted.
