Causes are: carelessness when smoking – 1, violation of fire safety rules during furnace use – 1, wrong installation and defect in heating furnace and chimney – 2, defect in vehicle mechanisms – 1, ascertain - 1.

Missions of fire departments on rescuing at the elimination of the consequences of traffic accidents – 10 times.

Missions of voluntary fire protection units on fire fighting – 0.

Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 50 times. Including burning garbage extinguishing – 2. Firefighters of the republic eliminated – 3 fires, 5 of them in the residential sector. 1 person was saved.

Causes are: careless handling of fire – 1, carelessness when smoking – 1, arson – 1.

Missions of fire departments on rescuing at the elimination of the consequences of traffic accidents – 11 times. 2 people were saved.

Missions of voluntary fire protection units on fire fighting – 2.

Missions of search and rescue units of EMERCOM of RT – 6 times. Including: door unblocking – 1, traffic accident – 2, others – 2, preventive talk with fishermen – 1.

Total 29 stationary heating centers, 14 health centers and 55 nutrition centers implemented their work on the federal roads of the Republic of Tatarstan. In addition, there was organized the duty of one mobile brigade of “Disaster Medicine Center of the Republic of Tatarstan”. 

In the period from January 3 to 10, 15 people, including 7 children, were poisoned by carbon monoxide. Carbon monoxide poisoning is one of the critical states of a person that leads to death. As a rule, it occurs as a result of malfunctioning heating stove in rural areas, when a person is located in a fire, in a closed car with the engine running.

Thanks to the cooperative efforts of ministries and departments of the republican subsystem of the Single State System of the Prevention and Liquidation of Emergency Situations the traffic moves in normal mode on federal and republican routes of the Republic of Tatarstan. Snow drifts on the roads do not occur. According to the plan “Blizzard”, 782 units of snowplow are involved in the cleaning up the pavement.
